P & J Welding was founded in
Newcastle NSW Australia, in 1974. Since this time we have been actively
involved in mining and industrial maintenance, steel fabrication and general
engineering. We have many regular customers in the Newcastle area; however,
increasing volumes of work emanating from the Upper Hunter area of NSW
enabled us to open a branch in Singleton in 1994. P & J Welding has
it’s Head Office and Workshop located at 20 Mitchell Road, Cardiff
where it has resided since 1977 and the Hunter Valley office and Workshop
is located at 9 Enterprise Crescent, Maison Dieu Singleton with one
acre of usable yard area. The Cardiff Workshop is 60m long x 20m wide
complete with overhead crane, alternatively our Singleton Workshop is
36m long x 20m wide complete with overhead crane, forklift and Palfinger
Mobile Crane for your onsite requirements. Our workforce usually
varies between 20 and 30 Trades people, all our tradesmen are hand picked
to ensure our high standard of work is maintained. We have tradesmen qualified in polyethylene welding, pressure
welding, crane driving, overhead crane, confined space, elevated work
platform, first aid, electrical appliance testing and competent in risk
assessments/job analysis. Our
industrial record is impeccable (with only stoppages in all our years
being National or Area Stoppages). We have pressing and rolling
facilities, and our equipment allows us to work with Mild Steel, Stainless
Steel, Aluminium and other non-ferrous metals. We have a comprehensive assortment of polyethylene Welding
fabrication equipment. We have a
6 tonne Isuzu truck for deliveries. Managing Directors
